If your baby sleep swaddled do you have them wearing clothes under?

My baby will only sleep through the night if he’s wearing his pjs under his swaddle. My friend told me I’m not supposed to do that, I’m supposed to have him sleep naked?🤷🏼‍♀️

Well depends is it hott or cold where you are at? When I did swaddle my son he wore a small onsie and the swaddle.

Our sleep sack is thin so she sleeps with normal long sleeve footed pjs under them. We keep our fan on and it’s set to 68-72. She has never been hot when we wake up.

I said yes because we do but really depends on temp. Is it hot or cold? 
Our baby sleeps in a thin sleeper and then his sack which is armless. 
We have another sack made of fleece with arms and if using that well only dress him in a shortsleeve onesie

He still wears full pjs long sleeve, we tried only a onesie and he would just wake up. He’s not hot at all when we get him up in the morning🤷🏼‍♀️

We used a short sleeve onesie under his swaddle and our ac was set to 72. Whenever I took him out to change him he didn’t seem too hot. He’s in a sleep sack now so we use a long sleeve onesie.
