How did your (first baby) labor start?

Question

I know it is late but I’m hoping to get some answers. I’m having some mild period like cramps and my stomach keeps tightening. The cramps are continuous but the tightening comes and goes. 
But earlier, I had a fecal impaction and had to go to the ER. I was pushing extremely hard and maybe that’s why I am cramping??
Please someone let me know! I’d hate to drive 30 minutes to L&D to get sent home!

I was 41+9🙄🙄
I had a second sweep at ten am 
My waters went at 9.30pm as in pop all on floor and they started straight away fairly uncomfortable 
We waited till 11.30 and then went to hospital. It’s an hour drive 
They were debating sending me home but when they scanned me baby had flipped breach so I had to stay and have c section

At 39+2 for me. I had a bit of my mucus plug come away (for the first time) at 38+5 and twinges after that too. At 3am I woke up from a contraction and as I shifted to get comfortable my waters went! The contracts were pretty mild at that point and I had no trouble breathing through them.

I had contractions, but don't remember them being painful. I was so happy. Lol. 
We counted for 1 hour with a contraction tracker. Then decided to go to the hospital.

I had gotten a super bad headache and felt unusually tired in the moment and my water broke within less then 5 mins of that feeling
