Anti-acids?

Has anyone’s baby been put on anti-acids? Have they helped? What were your symptoms? My guy is having trouble with wet burps and sometimes throwing up a ton after he eats, and I’m wondering if it might be a GERD type issue.

We are on Zantac and Omeprazole and it has worked wonders! 🙌🏼

We were put on Zantac. Worked for about a day and then stopped. Now we’ve been on Prevacid for a little over a week and I’m seeing tons of improvement. Symptoms were pretty bad. Super fussy during feeds, constant feeding, 30-40 spit ups/vomits a day, back arching, not sleeping more than 30-45 min at a time, and finally weight loss. That’s when we started meds.

My dr told me to give 1/4 teaspoon of mylanta for her reflux. It works sometimes but I only give it to her when it’s really bad
