IUGR.
I recently just had my first baby on Oct. 1st! A beautiful boy.
I was 38 weeks the day of his birth. I had to get induced bc I had gestational hypertension (working its way up to preeclampsia) and my baby was smaller than the average percentile. (IUGR) (I DON’T/DIDNT smoke while pregnant or before. I definitely don’t or didn’t drink either.) I believe he was in the 10th percentile? He was born weighing 5lbs 14 oz 19 inches.
As I was pregnant all the doctors were saying I wasn’t that big of a girl so they wouldn’t expect a big baby from me. (I’m 5’6 120lbs, I know this doesn’t have a factor to the baby being small)
Just wondering for future possibilities, but if my first pregnancy my baby was smaller, is it possible that my future pregnancies will be the same way? I know the preeclampsia maybe there if I get pregnant in the far future but will all my babies be small?..
