How to deal???

I think I may have pcos... I've always had irregular cycles... I can get AF twice in one month or skip it for 3... And everywhere in between. All the DR's I've gone to just keep saying try going back on the pill for two months... Doesn't help :( they refuse to help us TTC until we have been TTC for at least a year! I understand that it can take healthy couples a year to conceive but with my cycles being so irregular I feel like I have no fighting chance :'( I've tried opks and I never get a positive test... I've even done it from AF to AF to see if I ovulate at a weird time or something... And nothing :( the DR's wont even test to see if i have pcos or anything even though I have a long history of irregular cycles and my family has had history of irregular cycles and a hard time conceiving... anyone who have pcos out there have any advice on what I can do to try and help our chances?
