Anyone here continued to take progesterone supplements for their entire pregnancy?

I’m 24 weeks and I still didn’t stop taking my progesterone suppositories. I’m on 200mg twice a day so I get 400mg daily. 
Doctor suggested me to stop a while ago but I told him I feel nervous to stop so he gave me a script for more progesterone.  I know I should stop taking them but I’m afraid to get contractions or have an early labor. 
I might start taking it only once a day from now on but even so I’m still nervous 🤦🏻‍♀️

Your placenta produces exponentially more than the supplement can. If not, you would have miscarried by now, supplement or not. It's like pouring a cup of water into a bathtub full of water. ....not making any difference whatsoever.

I stopped taking money at 20 weeks cold title and was nervous as hell but I'm perfectly fine and so are my babies. :)

I am taking Vitex and will do so through the first trimester. Last year my progesterone was 0.49 so I will be taking the Vitex for sure.

I thought about it because I was super nervous. But I kinda slowly tapered off around 13/14 weeks and it’s been fine so far. I’ll be 19 weeks Tuesday. It’s a very personal decision tho. ☺️
