Advice with hair extensions

So I am a hairstylist recently got my license so I work at a salon.. anyways I had a girl I work with put in my tape in extensions for me. She’s my friend and we all do each other’s hair for free. Anyways she put them in and she razored them too much and really uneven. I came in the next day to my boss almost crying because they are expensive and I want to look good. She fixed them and basically told the girl that put them in they would have to buy me new ones if she couldn’t fix it and she cut too much and whatever.. anyways so all is good but my scalp seriously hurts I can’t even touch my scalp to wash my hair because I think the girl put them too close to my scalp and the weight and how close the tension is, is pulling too much. It hurts. But I don’t want to make another scene about it again but still it’s not right and I can’t move my hair around or put my fingers inbetween them with out it hurting really bad. She has been a stylist for a long time but she doesn’t listen to people so now it’s messed up. Plus I’m afraid it’s going to really damage my hair even worse now.. suggestions?
