Always wait until cleared by your doctor. Your vulva isn’t the only area that needs to heal. Your actual vaginas canal and cervix need to heal as well. You could easily get an infection if you don’t wait.

same. so we went and bought a vibrator. and still ended up having sex 3 weeks pp. i told my dr. she told me to call her if i noticed anything not right but that was common to not wait and i wasn’t the only one so that made me feel better

Waited 5 months with my first and even then it hurt like a bitch. Currently 7 weeks post elective c-section and still haven't had sex. I wouldn't before 6 weeks, there's a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus that you do not want to get infected.
