I had a D&C on the Oct 4th. I just got my first true negative test. How long did it take once you got a negative for your period to return? Thanks ladies!

Just got back from my post op appointment. Thankfully everything is healed and back to normal. Much like you have commented the OB said to expect my period in 4-6 weeks!

2nd update: I got my period on Friday November 4th, so it was exactly a month from my D&C. I was surprised, considering what my OB said (she told me to expect it around thanksgiving). It also has been a very painful period, with much more cramping than usual, and a little more blood. Called my OB just to make sure everything was normal, and she said as long as I’m not bleeding through a pad every hour that it’s okay.
