Flying on a plane?

I've had a trip booked to Key West over Veterans Day weekend for months now- and totally forgot about it until my husband reminded me this morning!  By the time I leave next week i will be 7.5 weeks. I dont have my first appointment until literally the day before I leave. Is it safe to fly/any tips?

Should be ok but check with your doctor first. Also try to avoid the body scanners and opt for a pat down instead.  Get up and move when on the plane to avoid blood clots. You should be just fine.

I went to Key West at 32 weeks in August. You should be ok to travel. Hope you have a great time.

Try and walk around every so often and get some compression socks :)

I flew at 7 weeks with my first and was fine except I felt very sick on the plane.

Totally fine. The main issue is to keep your hands sanitized (keep from getting sick), you may have morning sickness at that point, and stay hydrated  (it's easy to get dehydrated on planes and traveling in general). But yes flying is safe until you're super pregnant lol

It's safe to fly up until the last few weeks of pregnancy unless told otherwise by your doctor.

You’ll be fine- I went to Florida a couple weeks ago was 6 weeks at the time. The scanners at the airport are the same level. Frequency as an ultrasound so you can go through them. But if nervous you can let them know your pregnant and get a pat down instead. ￼
