So I am 5 weeks pregnant and I have had mild cramps pretty much since I found out I was pregnant (on and off). I know that’s normal in pregnancy.

But this morning I woke up to heavier cramps (not too bad but more noticeable) and light red bleeding. There is blood almost every time I wipe but it doesn’t seem to soak a pad. I went to the doctor and he says it’s to early for a ultrasound but he ordered bloodwork to check my hcg levels. I haven’t gotten the results back yet and I go back on Thursday to recheck the levels to see if they are doubling.

I’m so scared that this is a miscarriage. Has anyone experienced anything similar and it turned out to be fine? I don’t want to get my hopes up but I can’t just sit here and wait until Thursday.
