Reduce pumping & maintain supply??
My LO was born early on 9/5 at 34+4, and was in the nicu for the first 4 weeks of life. Due to being early, he was on a feeding tube and then bottles, so breastfeeding never really worked well for us. So, I have been exclusively pumping since his birth (about 2 months).
I have been pumping 8 times a day since he was born and am currently producing around 30 oz a day, which allows me to freeze some and build up a stash.
I am so exhausted from pumping, and honestly hate it, but love being able to give my son breastmilk.
Can I reduce the number of pumping sessions but still maintain the same amount of supply? Being able to go down to 6 or 7 pumping sessions a day would be amazing and give me some breathing room.
