Very well worth it but i don’t know if I will ever put myself through that again. Atleast 53 hours spent since 1 cm dilated beginning thursday at noon. (Started with back labor wednesday night and didn’t even know that was such a thing) ..they gave me an “epidural” at 3 cms on Friday around 2 pm because  the pain was awfull, but  ended up it was actually a spinal tap!! It solved the pain until Saturday at 4am when i began feeling all the contractions in my back, pelvis and abdomen only on the left side of me. they broke my water at 7 cm and then gave me another epidural at 8 cm around 11 am on Saturday..they realized that the first actually wasn’t an epidural and the real epidural never actually worked. I spent 2 hours and 50 minutes pushing and screaming, crying and cussing before they finally did a vacuum.. i was sooo scared that i was going to mess it up (only have three attempts at pushing or an emergency csection happens)  but i was in so much pain i had no other choice but to try it. My boyfriend was very worried because they made the comment about the 1 percent chance of a hematoma if it didn’t work right, he looked so frightened to agree  but he knew i needed it with all of my pain. Thankfully she came out on the second try, it was soooo rough but i was so relieved! . She was stuck inside of me because she was on an angle.I had to be stitched up quite a bit which hurt a ton as well. My whole left leg from my left lower back down hurt for the next seven hours or so. I finally don’t have those stabbing pains anymore, but i am super super sore. Just thankful to have my healthy baby girl here.
