Beginner sewer

So I just recently learned how my sewing machine works. (Its old. Like mid 70's singer given to me by my grandparents)

But now that I know how it works, I don't know what to make. Sooo, any ideas as what i could make as a beginner? I made a purse with my mom like 10 years ago (she did most of the sewing) and that's the extent of my sewing history.

I would love to work my way up to having my own sewing business one day.

Also, if you have any tips or tricks or even advice, I'm all ears!
