Too long?

Names with 4 syllables too long? Like Valentina... Sarafina ? I like these names a lot but wouldn't want to use a nickname. Is it too much of a mouth full?

I don’t think they’re too long!
However, we can’t know what your daughter will prefer. She might choose to shorten it, so you should at least chose a longer name whose nicknames you don’t hate, even if you don’t intend to use them yourself.

I think it all depends. For me, my family is full of tall and curvy women. A long name would fit my daughter more than “Kia” would. I don’t know why but I have always correlated the height of the women in my family to their long names. LOL.
