i JUST got the iud🎉

Omgggggg im officially a part of this community😂😂 I JUST got the iud placed. Like 10 mins ago. I was so nervous but my doctor was so sweet and fast.

I expected (after hearing peoples stories) to be in screaming pain but i felt a bit uncomfortable when the speculum went in. When she actually placed it it gave pain for like 5 secs, i cant even remember, and then it was over to lil cramps. And now i still have lil cramps and just a full feeling.

Im so happy im done for the next 5 yearssssss.

Edit: I got some bad cramps (not the worst I've ever had tho) but super uncomfortable and pretty painful in the night after placing it (placed in the morning). I took ibuprofen and had a hot water bag so that really helped. The morning after i took one as precaution (best decision ever) and later that day too, to make sure i wont get those cramps again. Today i forgot but after like a hour the ibuprofen started to work..

Also before it was placed (on my period) i had a pretty heavy flow. The day itself it was also heavier but the day after it was only like red discharge. Now two days after the only thing i have is spotting (pink discharge) and im 100% sure its because of the iud. I never get this light and this early. Im so happy i have it now😊😊 (Lets just pray it wont take too long, the spotting)
