No period with IUD=more eggs stored?!?

I never really thought about this until now, but if I didn’t have a period for the entire time I was on Mirena, but my body is stored up the eggs that it didn’t release or how does that work?! I just went to the doctor yesterday and this question wasn’t on my mind. I wish it had been. 😂 I had the IUD for about 10 years and never really had a period. Does that mean that I never actually ovulated or released any eggs and then I reserved more? Kind of confused on this.
