Was this fair of me to do?

Last weekend my partner turned around and said that I do ‘nothing’ around the house. Mind you it was 9 in the morning and I was putting our son to sleep so I could start cleaning!! when he’s at work during the week I do nothing but clean and look after our 3 month old. So after he said that I was like fine I won’t do anything from now on if you wanna have that attitude. So all last week, I didn’t cook for him, clean his mess, wash his clothes ect, DID NOTHING FOR HIM. All I did was clean up after myself, The house was trashed, him leaving stuff everywhere and not cleaning up after himself so on Saturday I couldn’t take it anymore so I woke up and decided to clean everything once baby was settled and the house was spotless. when he woke up he apologised for saying that to me and knows I do clean the house he was just saying that to piss me off, I can honestly say he learned a lesson from this and is more appreciative.
