Help ttc

So me and my bf have been together for a year have be ttc for the past 6 months. I was on birth control got it out in jan2019 have been ttc since , my period are irregular, but I haven't had a period in almost 3 months I took a text last month results were negative sadly , I just don't understand I just start having symptoms but still neg test, can some who going otlr been through this please help
