IVF for Unexplained Infertility

Hello all. After 3 failed IUIs and a break with hopes it would still happen naturally, we’ve decided to move forward with IVF.

I was feeling really positive with IVF success rates being around 60% at their best but have become deflated seeing that the live birth rate can actually be closer to like 25%. That really bums me out and I’m feeling less confident about everything.

I’m 29, he and I are completely healthy. Neither of us ever had a blip through all of our testing with the fertility doctors.

Can people please share with me their IVF stories? Are you in a similar situation to me? Did it work for you? How many cycles before it took?

Any real life experiences (good or bad) from others in a similar situation would be really helpful. I’d appreciate any information about the experience you’re willing to share.
