Is it normal for baby to grunt like this all the time ?

She’s a week old and grunts like this all the time , idk if that’s normal or not

My girl did this for about 4 weeks or so when she was small. Everything I read led me to believe it was her figuring out how to pass gas and that she needs to figure out how to relax her butt muscles and push at the same time. She would do it for hours during the night. But then it passed and she figured out how to toot on her own lol

Sounds just like my baby at night. I tried researching it online and from what I found I thought it was normal. I’m not so sure though. I plan to ask his pediatrician at his appointment next week

That was the sound my daughter made because of her silent reflux. She couldn’t sleep she would just be constantly grunting like that. Had to start her on meds.

My son would grunt like this soon after eating. He was very fussy, ended up being diagnosed with silent reflux at a few weeks old.

Yes. Mine usually make that sound when eating, pooping, trying to do a task such as rolling over or tummy time, etc. They are discovering their voices.
