Do you think all parents should be CPR certified?

Certified? No, that costs money people don’t necessarily have. I first got certified in 5th grade, and I was a medic for 10 years, so I’m not opposed to people getting certified. Should they know how? Yes, it isn’t hard. 
I wish hospitals offered basic first aid and CPR classes for new parents/caregivers.

Idk about having to be certified but should definitely know how to do cpr and deal with choking for their kids. I watched YouTube videos on both.

Yes... because when you’re by yourself and your child starts choking then you will know what to do rather than freak out. I remember choking once at like 5 and my grandmother just beating on my back. There are also different techniques for babies.

In an ideal world yes. But it's expensive and can be the difference between bills and food and starving

You dont have to be certified but they should know what to do. We took an infant CPR class but it isnt an official certification.
