Cosmetologist! Hair dressers! Question?

My hair has always been extremely dark-an ebony and I’ve always HATED IT!

Which is why for years I’ve always either had highlights, crazy colors, ombré etc. hair to stray away from the brunette.

I’ve been told by other hair dresses and close friends that I can pull off any color.

So-next year I plan on going on vacation-I wanted to of course change the color entirely to a color I have always been afraid to go near: BLONDE.

And I mean not bleach blonde but a cute strawberry blonde.

Have you ever had someone who’s as dark haired as me achieve this color well? And how many sessions or hours did it take?

Just curious! Any input (cosmetologist or not) is welcome! 😘

(Also-I’ve heard the whole “keep dying your hair and it’ll fall out” argument. So kindly respect that I’m here for a good time not a long time).
