Should I be scared for the obgyn?

So I’m 16 and so I’ve started exploring a bit and so has my boyfriend and we’re pretty serious at this point. A lot of firsts. We’re both still too scared to have sex but there are other things. Anyways he’s fingered me on multiple occasions and I’ve been doing some stuff on my own sense I was 13. Well my mom wants to take me to the obgyn about birth control to regulate my periods. Should I be scared that the doctor’s going to tell her about me doing things even if I say it’s just me and no one else? She won’t be in the room we’ve already talked about that.
