I had my son 12/23/18. I bled for the first five months he was born, and I’ve continuously spotted since then. I went to the gynecologist, and he told me it was my period, and the depo shot i was on. I got the shot twice after my son was born, and it wore off months ago.

I don’t understand what’s doing on. I had my first real period last week, and today I’m having light brown spotting again. I’m tired of bleeding. I’m tired of ruining underwear.

My heath insurance has expired. I don’t know what to do.

I feel like the doctor didn’t listen to me. He just insisted I was bleeding from my period and the shot, but I don’t know anyone who bleeds for five months straight. And the blood smelled horrifying, too.

I’ve had this doctor in the past. I went to him when I was 15 for ovarian cysts. He made my mother leave the room, and then went to tell me that my boyfriend at the time was cheating on me. That all men would cheat on me, and use me for sex. I guess after that I’ve been afraid of going to the gynecologist. (I didn’t know I was going to that same doctor until I saw his face)

Has anyone ever had issues like this after a pregnancy? Will it ever stop? Am I still spotting from the depo shot? Is there a greater underlying issue?

I’m sorry if im asking for too much. I just want my sex life to go back to normal.
