Blood pressure machine weird?

My blood pressure is measuring high. It used to always be high but since I’ve been on bed rest it returned to normal. Now it’s high. But then after a few mins is normal. I switch arms and it’s high again, then lower

I was tested and have slight preeclampsia and also GD. Yesterday my blood pressure was 126/78 when I went for my weekly nurse appointment....

Make sure you are using the right size cuff. My home bp machine has always ran high for me too and normal for family members with smaller arms. So I finally switched out the cuff to the ones from my doctor and I have been getting much better readings.

Retaking after a few minutes it can go down.
I went for 16week check today my blood pressure read as 136/101,pulse 103 . 
I knew that wasn't right but I also just walked 9flight of stairs due to the elevator taking FOREVER .
She waited and retook it,it was then 114/86 pulse 68.
Just keep taking it and writing it down so your doctor knows whats going on
