Do you have a night time routine?

What time do you put your baby down? I have no routine for night or day and I’m looking for advice on what my fellow mommas do that they think helps!

We do a bath at 7 (every other night) and then a bottle and swaddled and into the crib she usually self soothes and is asleep within 15mins and then sleeps about 3 hrs gets up has another bottle and then goes back to sleep for about 5 hours

My baby is almost 9 weeks and we try to put her down at 11 or 12 so that she can sleep until about 5-6am and then she eats and goes back to sleep until 8-9am. If she hasn’t taken a bath the night before, I give her one when she wakes up. 
Her day schedule: nap usually between 10-12pm (sleeps about 3-4 hours)
Goes back to sleep about 6pm and wakes up at 8 then stays up until 11pm-12am.

We've started doing a routine recently. We start at 9. Diaper change with lavender lotion, pajamas, feed, all in nursery with dim lighting. Then move into our bedroom which is already dark with white noise going, and put him down in his basket with his soother. The three nights we've done that so far he's fallen asleep in about 15 minutes. Used to take hours.

We usually start our bedtime routine around 8:30. So that his last feeding is T 10:30ish. He wakes up at 1:30 ish and 3:30 ish so if he is in bed by 10 ish we get a longer stretch of sleep before his first wake time.

I have the same question!  My baby girl is 5.5 weeks old. We don’t really do a routine yet, day or night. She still falls asleep whenever for naps and just goes to bed at night when we go to bed. That’s usually around 11 and I feed her, change her, swaddle and rock her, and then put her in her bassinet once she’s almost asleep. I think it’s still ok at this age but I do want to try to start some routines soon as she gets closer to two months.

My boy is 4 weeks old so tbh I haven't bothered trying yet. Will prob start about 6 weeks with bath n earlier bed, but for now it's about 11.30pm (he sleeps on me downstairs from about 8pm til then, while we have dinner n chill) and then he wakes for feeding 2.30am and 5.30am (roughly)

My baby loves baths (she loves having her hair washed) so her doctor said if we wanted to try starting a little bedtime routine we could utilize that. I don’t give her a full bath because she also likes to poop in the tub lol but I sit on the side of the tub and hold her on my knees still wearing her diaper and give her a little washcloth bath and rinse her hair. Then I wrap her in her towel and take her back to the bedroom where I have the lights really low, I make sure she has a clean dry diaper. I lie her down on the bed on top of whatever pajamas I’m going to put her in, and rub her baby lotion on her, then I snuggle her up in the pajamas and rub her hair dry with her towel (that’s her favorite part, she loves her head being rubbed). Then I feed her until she falls asleep and put her in her little bed. :)

My LO is 7 weeks and I didn’t even realize we had a routine until recently lol. Around 7:30 every night we put her in our bedroom in her bassinet, even if she isn’t fully tired. She has her noise machine on and lights are off. I put her down and leave the room. I let her fuss for a while before I go in again, and I bring her into my bed and do a laying down feed with her until she falls asleep. She’s a 4-10 minute feeder and this feed is always around 30 minutes. Once shes asleep I either pull her up onto my chest to burp her and then let her fall asleep on me and move her into her bed, or I move her straight into her bed...depends on the night and how hard to get to sleep she was lol. Works like a charm! I’m glad we got into a routine without trying. She’s always asleep by 8:30 at the latest

My daughter is 6 weeks. We do bath every other night around 530 after her feeding so she’s happy. Put her in pjs and hang with her until her night feeding around 7-730 then bed immediately after , she usually sleeps 8-1/2 am ! Then feed and back to bed till 545 ish
I don’t have a nap routine yet for the day but hope to start one when she’s around 8 weeks

No not yet... will start around 3 months with something super simple like music then jammies. Did the same with my son, kept the routine consistent and he is an AMAZING sleeper :)
