What's the worst/most frustrating/most infuriating case of someone being enabled that you've encountered?

I used to date a guy who spent all his money on beer and video games, so his parents paid his bills for him.   We didn't last long.

I know a family that went through a lot. The mother feels guilty about what the father did to the son and she lets him get away with a lot. She lets him bully the younger brother, disrespect the step father, and when he gets his xbox taken away she lets him use her phone for whatever. He steals money and food from the roommate and doesn’t get in trouble also. He has bent to a mental institution but she hasn’t changed her parenting. He also just recently stole food and drinks from the school. There is just so much more it’s ridiculous. He manipulates her and she lets him. He’s 15 so he knows what he’s doing. I just know he’s gonna be on the news for shooting up a school. He’s obsessed with murder and rape. It’s scary.
