At what age should you stop showering /bathing with your child?

With my son, when he could wash his body, to what I thought to be well enough(it’s been a minute, but I think4-5), I would let him wash his body and I would wash his hair. By 5-6 I didn’t even go in the bathroom with him. With my girls, it’ll probably take a bit longer for them to wash their hair well enough. But I think it depends on the child’s ability to understand how to wash themselves properly. Some may take longer than others.

I stopped when my oldest was about 6 as I would shower both my boys together as youngest son was 1 then. But my oldest been showering by himself for good couple years without his brother as he asked to. he’s just turned 10.. for me it’s whenever your child asks and aware of there personal space. My youngest son is nearly 5 and he jumps in the shower with me or his dad. I now cover up when getting dressed around my oldest or ask him to leave the room, as he does the same with himself so I just gone with the flow of how he’s growing up.

We only have a shower. When he’s able to properly clean himself then he won’t have to shower with us...he’s only 2 so we have a good ways to go lol

My sons 2.5 and I still bathe with him. He doesnt even react to seeing me naked tbh. I don't put my nether regions on display tho lol

When they show disinterest in it, they will let you know. You could simply ask them as well. Usually once they become aware of their bodies they will want to bath alone.
