So, this is my first pregnancy and I have heard that sometimes dogs can sense pregnancy. Well, ever since I hit my second trimester, my beagle, Seamus, will randomly start pacing, “growling” (more like a weird hum like “Raaa raaaalraaaraaa raaaa *squeaky yawn* raaaa”), and then just bark nonstop. Rinse and repeat. It is driving me insane. He has a bark collar because he would just bark like crazy during his crazies inside the apartment, but the battery is dead at the moment, and he is smart enough to notice that it isn’t working when I put it on him. Anyway, does anyone have any advice if their dog has done this? I have a feeling it’s anxiety related because I am his person. He is very attached to me. And he mostly does this while my husband is away. Maybe he doesn’t like that my husband “abandons” me to go to work lol.
