Can you go in labor without losing your mucus plug?

I’m 39 weeks and have yet to lose any of mucus plug I haven’t seen not one bit of it. Does that mean I’m going pass my due date? Or have to be induce?

My moms water didn’t break with me, and she didn’t lose her mucus plug lol. They had to pop her water at the hospital! (She also didn’t have contractions until after they popped it but she was 8 cm dilated!)

With my first pregnancy I went into labor and didn’t lose my mucus plug until many hours into the process. Just before I went into L&D!

Yes absolutely. I didn’t lose mine until I was having quite severe contractions

Last time I was 40wk +5. No plug,  and they broke my water before I started to push.  37 weeks now nothing yet for plug this time either

There’s a lot of women who lose it and just don’t notice. But I’m pretty sure everyone will lose it, possible during labour? :)
