This study cheered me up - PCOS sustained fertility with age

Margaret

So I was feeling a bit down today after my second cycle of letrozole 5mg didn’t work. I ovulated but no pregnancy. I’m 33 and have been TTC for 2 years. I feel time ticking and am worried about if a second child will be possible, let alone a first one!

I stumbled across this article while googling PCOS and

success rates and it cheered my up with a silver lining.

The gist of it is that the live pregnancy rates do not decrease with age for women with PCOS as it does with women without PCOS. Meaning our ovarian reserve is preserved by our condition. I hope this cheers someone else up too.
