How often do i feed my baby?

My girl is 6 months old. How often should i be feeding her baby food, like pureed baby food. For a month now we have been doing once a day 3 oz bottle and some baby food. Now since she is 6 months should i be replace 1 or 2 bottles a day with baby food? Or continue to do half bottle half baby food for a feeding??

Formula/breastmilk I've always been told was the main nutrition until closer to a year old. Foods at this age is for experimenting mostly.

I was told bottles come first. I start solids at 6 months, but I do food once a day for a couple weeks. Once it was going well and we all felt good about it I started a second meal, then a third. Within 2 months my first was having 3 meals per day. But bottles were still first because formula/breast milk is where they get the nutrients they need. Every meal was a bottle then solids about 30 minutes later. Around 10 months he started refusing bottles on his own.

You maintain the amount of bottle feeding you have been, food is just for fun until they are one. Don’t drop any bottles they need the breast milk or formula not the solid food.

We always do bottle first like others suggested as it’s most important.  Schedule below seems pretty good for him every 3 hours roughly.  Bigger bottles on first and last of the day only.  He was at 5oz per feeding generally before starting solids so we didn’t pull back, but also haven’t increased formula as much as we would have if he wasn’t on solids.  
1: 5.5-7oz
2: 5.5oz plus 3 tablespoons oatmeal.  We start solid feeding halfway thru bottle to help wash it down.
3: 5.5oz plus 2-3 tablespoons single or mixed veggie if it’s not new.
4: 5.5oz bottle plus 1-2 tablespoons fruit.  I’m paranoid about the sweetness of fruit making him want sugar.  Sometimes we just do a chunk of frozen apple in a mesh teether as a snack instead.
5: 5.5-7oz bottle with 3-4 tablespoons oatmeal.
Depending on what time he got up we plan for 5-6 feedings and avoid eating solids when he’s too sleepy at night.  Last bottle gets an extra ounce or two.
LO loves his oatmeal, also loves avocado.  Not a fan of peas or pole beans but sucks them down if cut with avocado.  I’ve been getting avocados on sale, quartering and freezing.  One chunk is good for a serving and it thaws in minutes I’m the warmer and easily mushes with fork or even a baby spoon.  Only issue is picking it over for fibers as you go.  
I had been flat bagging home made purées in my unused breast milk bags and breaking chunks off for feedings each day but planning to try ice cube trays next.  Seems much faster with less mess and loss.

Don't replace milk with food. They should only be having a couple of ounces a day of food and all of their regular milk. Food is not a main source of nutrition for many more months. Definitely talk to your pediatrician about this.

My girl eats purées 3 times a day followed by a 5oz bottle every time and one 5oz bottle during the night.
