Husband left me

So I'm 31( just turned 8/29) and my husband left me Saturday and packed a few bags and left me and the kids . He says he doesnt know if he wants me and the guy I fell in love with 7 yrs ago is gone and he doesn't remember how to be happy . So now he hasn't seen the kids since Sunday and he's been going out every night since . We have had our issues w trust and such but I thought we were good . I'm just crushed for the kids what would you do file for divorce or wait??
