Comfort nursing driving me insane!

As of now, baby is 6 weeks and 4 days old. She cannot and will not go to sleep without sucking on my nipple or my finger. We are not using a pacifier and her father is strictly against them so I have to use what I can. However, she takes forever to fall asleep, and whenever she is almost asleep she will spit out my nipple or my finger by herself and then about 10 seconds later starts crying again for it to be put back. I dont know what to do, I need to leave the room at some point and do stuff but she just won't stay asleep. And even when she finally gets to sleep she wakes up pretty quickly within an hour because shes taken so long to get to sleep that shes hungry again!

Any tips or help for me?? I'm so over it I just want her to be able to get some sleep and me to be able to leave her
