Baby arching back?

Question

Didn’t realize it could be a sign of “distress” but also could be normal ... (hate google 🙄)...
But, does anyone else’s baby arch their back all the time like they’re stretching?
Also, this is separate from the back arching. But, does anyone else’s baby breath rapidly like he/she is panting? Read that this is normal.. just a worried FTM.

Yes my baby does both of those I get worried when she’s panting especially when I’m breastfeeding her but I know she can breath

Totally normal. Baby could be arching their back to stretch or move gas or even cause they are upset. There isn’t much bodily movement they can do but back arching is common. And as for the panting, that’s common too. For the first month or so they are still learning how to breath so rapid breathing, even short breaths with pauses in between is normal. I’m not a doctor or anything just from my experience as a mom

Normal on the breathing... remember they are just getting used to using their lungs and stuff so things are gonna be different. It’ll be more labored looking while they sleep. Not sure about the back arch never heard of that but I’m sure it’s okay. Stop googling 😜😜 it’ll drive your anxious mama mind crazy!!!
