Pain in stitches?

I’ve been having the most excruciating pain when I pee. Even spraying warm water on it doesn’t help. 
I even filled the bath with water and tried to pee in it and it’s still stinging and burning so bad. 
It’s the the point I avoid using the bathroom if I can.
Any advice on how to get through? 
Does this sound like normal pain, or maybe a uti?

I had second degree tear with my first and I remember it being painful. I had to make sure I had A LOT of warm water to spray down there and I also did sit baths all through the day. That might help you. Try to do at least 5 sit baths a day to help heal.

Call your doctor. Ask for some numbing cream and pain killers maybe if they say this is normal (but from what you’re describing it doesn’t sound normal).

Try to drink more water I found that the more water I drank the less acidic my pee was so it didn't sting as bad I had a second degree tear and  a bilateral tear on my labia stitches almost literally at my pee hole do everything hurt to do.

I would talk to your doctor. I had a 3rd degree tear with lots of stitches and hardly had any pain urinating. In fact, I hardly had pain at all. I'm sure everyone (and every tear) is different but I assume the pain isn't supposed to be that excruciating.

How bad did you tear? I had a first degree tear but it didn’t hurt to pee it was normal for me. call your doctor.

Pain wasn’t that bad for me I would call the doc!Better be safe than sorry

I had stitches with both my kids and it didn’t hurt to pee that bad. So calling the doctor and asking if you should be seen might not be a bad idea. Maybe your doctor will say everything is ok but it doesn’t hurt to call.
