Single mums out there who did it on your own?

Question

How did you go being a single mum? 
I'm doing this pregnancy on my own. I'm nearly 29 weeks. I sometimes have days where i cry and feel really depressed.. (the dad isnt invovled )
I start thinking am I ever going to find someone now I have a kid.. 
Please tell me how you went?? I need some cheering up! I want to be the best mum i can be to my little girl. 11 weeks and she will be here and all im worried about is going into depression

I did it on my own when my son was 1.5 years old, after being a stay at home mom for my entire pregnancy and that first year. I left him,  got a job, went back to school, and found a career.  It's very possible to do without a partner.

Talk to your midwife about how you are feeling. There’s loads of resources out there to help you and support you too but you gotta ask. I got help finding a council house after talking to people at the children’s centre and i got some help towards a cooker and a washing machine too. 
Talk to people, don’t isolate yourself. If you don’t ask for help people will think you are doing ok.

I got together with my SO after I had my daughter and I'm pretty sure that if soulmates exist, he's mine. We knew each other when we were younger and reconnected as he was starting his divorce and I had recently broken up with my ex. I honestly feel like most guys won't hold it against you if you have a child, or they won't if they're a good guy that's worth your time. It's a little different dating when you're a mom, but you get used to it and make it work.
