Guys/girls: Moral predicament!! If getting back together with an ex should I tell him I had sex with someone else in the meantime??

Guys and girls perspectives welcome!
So let's say you and your boyfriend of two years (and person u lost ur virginity to) broke up (not bc the relationship was toxic or anything.. it just wasn't working out at the time). He needed some space and cut you off for a little, and you got into a relationship with someone else and in that relationship you had sex with them as well. Realizing you shouldn't have gotten into the new relationship, you break it off. Now your ex (guy of two years) and you have been talking again and plan to get back together. 
 →Before having sex again, should I tell him I had sex with someone else in the two month span we were apart or should I not? 
(Also I plan to get tested for STDs. Everytime I have sex it is protected but I'm paranoid so yeah)
Guys- would you want to know this??
Girls- help!!
I don't want to lie but if this will crush him I don't want to say. If for some reason I have an STD I will tell him but if I'm clean is it okay if I don't???

I really wouldn’t get back together with someone who thought they had any entitlement or expectation of control over decisions I made for my body and my relationships while we were broken up.

I say ask him if he wants to disclose if he slept with anyone during the break up. If u share, he needs to share too. I mean yall were broken up so u don’t owe him an explanation. But just make sure its equal and u rnt the only one divulging info.

If you were protected, I think it’d be unlikely you have an STD, you’re probably just paranoid. You could tell him but I don’t see a point, you were broken up

Get checked before sleeping with him again, if he asks why, then I would tell him. If you were in a relationship with someone else’s it’s really between you and your ex.. you know? If he doesn’t ask I wouldn’t tell.. open and honest, but you don’t have to just blurt it out.

Uh no. Why does he really need to know? You broke up, it wasn’t cheating. It’s not important and if he gets mad that’d be stupid as well cus you were in a relationship and sex is what happens in a relationship

Who's to say he wasn't sleeping around when u broke up? It's not really any of his business.. but what I will say is.. get tested and don't have sex before u get ur results.. u properly will be in the clear but if ur not.. u don't want more drama or the risk of passing it on.

You guys weren’t together.  If you’re going to tell him, I’d tell him just so he’s aware because of the possibility of an STD.  But you are in no way obligated to tell him.
