Is anyone else's baby still not eating solids?

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I try everyday but he rejects it. He liked bananas for one day and now hates them.

My first had no issues but this one does not like any food but formula. He will be 7 months on November 12th and still gags at the taste of food (puréed). We just try a little a few times a week. Eventually they will eat it so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. As long as they are gaining weight and are happy and healthy.

Mine is FINALLY starting to get the hang of it. It 100% depends on his mood. He still isn’t eating as much as is “recommended”, but I’m not stressing. He’s a big baby (21 pounds) and gets plenty of milk for all his nutrition. 
I do find that he likes it better when I put some baby oats in the fruit or veg and thin it down with water. I wonder if the tastes are just too strong for him right now?

Little one was, but it’s completely messed up his tummy so I’m waiting to talk to pediatrician before we continue

Have you tried sharing your fruits? , I give mine a taste from my apple when he saw me chewing, and soon it became his, it also happened with a banana.

Are you trying different things each day? It took a month for my little one eating cereal every day to enjoy it. Then another month with peas. We just now switched to something else and plan to try something different every week or two. Part of this is because of allergies and another part is to let her get to know the flavor a bit.

If you’re truly concerned, talk to your pediatrician about food therapy with an OT. They can do a swallow study and give you some resources to help make food more enjoyable! We are in the process now, I can’t say it’s 100% made food better, but we are getting there!
