Lochia?

How long did you experience lochia? And what helped get rid of the smell?

Nothing really helped just time. No matter how many times I showerd or changed my padd it didn’t really make a difference. I just tried my best to not dwell on it and it slowly got better. No one told me this is a thing befor I had my daughter and damn it’s horrible.

Mine lasted for about 4 weeks on and off. I take epsom salt and baking soda baths to help with the smell and ph balance. Sometimes I’ll put a few drops of lavender essential oil in the bath as well.

Never knew about this either! The smell too what the heck. I’m 4 weeks pp.

With my first baby I had for about 4 weeks after I was soaking pads (that was for about 4 weeks) 
With my second baby, I only had it for maybe a week after soaking pads. (I was soaking pads for about 3 weeks) and then boom it was all gone lol I couldn’t believe it since with my first it was for a while
