Hard water and cloth diapers

I have been cloth diapering for about 5 months now and they are getting pretty dingy looking washing in my hard water. My inserts are so hard too. I use pocket diapers.

Do you all have any tips on how to get my diapers looking good again? I notice so black specks on them sometimes too. Usually they will go away after hanging in the sun but I'm terrified I'm getting mold.

I wash every other day and I use rockin green hard water detergent, 2 capfuls of calgon water softener. Sometimes if they look really bad I use white out to get the stains out. I do a cold rinse, hot wash with extra rinse, cold rinse.

Am I doing anything wrong or do you all have any suggestions?
