Anyone have Medrol/Prednisone in their FET protocol?

After 2 failed medicated FETs with PGS tested embryos were doing a Natural FET with a PGS and I’m requesting additional support for any low level inflammation. My Dr. only prescribed 5mg of prednisone for 5 days before and after. Is that enough? Any ladies who had success adding prednisone, what was your dose?

I had two failed transfers. Added in medrol and intralipid infusion as my doc said it could be my body rejecting it.. third transfer was 10/23 and I just got positive first beta yesterday at 437! So I support both those options! I chose intralipid over prednisone because I don’t react well to prednisone.

I have a similar situation. I’ve had two failed transfers. My first was a chemical pregnancy due to not having enough progesterone. Did a ERA and then made the changes. My next transfer ended in a miscarriage after a subchronic hemorrhage. I’m on 5mg of predsnione. They wanted to to try baby aspirin and lovenox also but I was spotting the whole time I was on birth control so we discontinued the blood thinners. We’ll see if this steroid does the trick 🤞🏾

They added prednisone to my protocol this time (2 failed previous transfers and slightly elevated thyroid antibodies).  My is 10mg 5 days before transfer and at least until pregnancy is proven.  I dont know how long after that.  I can't tell you if it has helped yet as my transfer will be in a couple of weeks.  I heard 5mg-10mg is the normal dosage.

Prednisone 20mg for 5 days before and evening of transfer is standard in my clinic.  I did it for my first FET (successful 2 years ago) and I’m doing it this round.  I hope it works again!! I haven’t had any cycles without it.
