Christmas presents for 3 month old?

What’s everyone getting their babies for Christmas. I’m thinking some nappies and a couple of toys? Not too much this year haha

My oldest was born in September as well and I think I just got him a beanie, a rattle, a lovey, and some warm jammies for his first Christmas. Now we do "something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read". Little brother will probably get a few small toys.

No point getting much for a 3 month old that has no concept of gifts or the day being special. And I'm a huge lover of Christmas and gift giving! But probably some cute outfits and a couple new toys.. Stuff we basically buy him when he needs it anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m looking at keepsake type items for my son. 
I come from a religious family and I purchased him a nativity scene puzzle for when he is older, but it’s super pretty to put on display now. (Bannertoys) 
I’m also looking into getting him some kind of Christmas themed item he can use throughout the years as a kid (blanket, pillow, advent calendar, etc)
I also received the night before Christmas book myself (the hallmark recordable one) the year my grandfather passed away, and he recorded himself reading it for all his grandkids (17 of us). It’s one of my most cherished belongings. I want to do something like this for my son.

my family has a tradition of buying an ornament every year. since i got married and moved out, my mom gifted me all my ornaments from when I was a baby to adulthood. Hoping to start the same tradition with my little one.

I’m asking for money for her savings account. Doubt it will work for grandparents especially but I’m hoping for the best. I just don’t want an abundance of clothes/toys already.

I never thought to buy my baby anything specifically for Christmas. I know family members will get him stuff, but since we would be opening it and he’s too little to Understand gifts I didn’t plan on buying and wrapping gifts for him. I just buy him whatever he needs as he needs it.

Any time we find clothes on sale that are good for next year we’re just adding them to our ‘Christmas gifts’ (gives me an excuse to actually buy them instead of talking myself out of it lol) Also bought her a couple Disney book sets to go with her collection.
