Should All Libraries Eliminate Late Fees?
My city is the first in the county to totally ditch late fees. The argument for is increasing access for low income individuals. The argument against is that there will be no incentive to return materials. There was a lot of resistance to the change, but we’re around a month in and these are the results so far:
