iPad and iPhone not showing same data?

Question

How to I get my iPhone to show the same data as my iPad? I enter data daily on my iPad, but it’s not updating on my phone even though it says “syncing” when I open the app on the phone.
I see an option to sync from server, but it says to proceed with caution?

Have u tried just clicking on the data options after opening the app on ur phone? If not, try that & see if the data u inputted shows up. Because, I have the same issue, regardless of which device I use to input the data in it doesn’t automatically show up when I open the app on the other device UNTIL I click on the data options, and then it all shows up. 
Not sure why it doesn’t automatically show up as soon as the app is opened though 🤷‍♀️
