Switching to bottles at night?

I’m thinking of switching to bottle feeding (breast milk) my baby at night instead of breastfeeding. Does anyone else do this? When do you pump?

We do this with out daughter, I basically pump a little after every feed during the day. I do the biggest pumps before I go to bed and during the night when I get up.  We find it works really well for us, she gets a really good feed at night and it only takes 10-15 mins to feed her and then back to bed! Just remember to wind your baby with the bottles! Good luck!

Technically you should pump whenever the baby eats. A bra to hold the flanges makes it hands free so you can bottle feed simultaneously.

I did this with my twins when they were babies. We had switched to EP at that point. I either pumped after we fed them or while feeding them if I was feeling ambitous. Once they slept through the night I could not get myself out of bed so quit pumping in the night. I lost some of my supply at that point.

I do this but late at night I have two bottles of formula ready to make and pump when she’s asleep and in the morning I do my big pump at 5:30/6 before she wakes up. Plus it makes it easier for my husband to feed her when I’m asleep
