Milk night feedings?

Question

When they get switched over to milk from formula at 1 do you give them milk all throughout the night? I have a 11 month old shes slowly starting to eat food but not enough to just survive on. At night what do you do?? She gets up 2-3 times still. Will I just give her milk instead of formula? She wont drink it cold either so do I have to go warm it up every single time? That means if have to go all the way downstairs to get it with a screaming upset tired baby. What do I dooo?!? Help this mama out!! TIA!!

Personally I would cold turkey cut the night feedings. It’s rough for a few nights but they learn so quick and will take in what they need during the day. Once I stopped giving in to night feedings (supported by my dr) my daughter started sleeping 11-12 hours straight every night.

I would try to wean her off night feedings, just make sure she’s getting enough food/milk during the day. At this age they can go longer stretches without food. I know that’s easier said than done, so good luck with what we you decide! 😊

So milk isn’t going to be used like formula. I would really try to up her solids and give her extra filling “snack” before bed to cut out night feedings. Milk is given for calcium not a food supplement like formula is.

My little one is 10. 5 months and still wakes for 1 bottle... I tried giving her just water to try wean her  off and have her thinking "that wasn't worth waking up for" but it doesn't work 😂... I'm planing over the next couple of weeks to gradully reduce the amount so it is at zero by the time she's 1...

I agree to try and slowly wean her off of night feedings. But you could also get the toddler version of formula. All the major brands have a toddler version 12+ months.
