Breastfeeding my preemie :-)

My little boy, Leviathan, was born at 31 weeks so he has been fed expressed breast milk through a feeding tube since he was born. He is now 33 and 6 adjusted, almost 3 weeks old, and we have been attempting nursing for the last 3 days. He mostly is just "nuzzling" so far with a few latches but he isn't taking much milk at all yet. The lactation consultant says that is actually great progress for his age/development. I just wish he could nurse so he could come home, but I know I'm just being greedy because he is already doing fantastically. I would love to here about how other preemies have done with nursing and how long it took them to figure it out. Anyone else breastfeeding a preemie?
