Preparing for induction

I’m being induced tomorrow at 5:30AM. I was wondering if it would benefit me any to wait on the epidural or get it as soon as I get there? Personal experiences? My doctor is highly recommending I get one as he is a big baby and they want me comfortable if they happen to need to manipulate things to get him out.

Also, what did you eat before being induced, if eating at all? My doctor didn’t say I couldn’t eat but did say I’m at a higher risk of having a cesarean since he’s big, so I’m assuming I need to eat light.

And any other advice would be greatly appreciated as this momma is nervous!
